The school educates specialists mainly in electrical engineering, food processing and pharmaceutical chemical industry and automobile industry. Yearly there are hundreds of student graduating and becoming auto mechanics, electrical engineers but also hairdressers and goldsmiths.

In 2009 one of the school buildings has undergone a thorough reconstruction with the aim of lowering energy expenses. Overall savings (including those reached by replacing windows and doors) reach almost 70% of original energy spending.

The saving measures of the ten-year project with guaranteed lowering of costs were  affected by three areas

• complex reconstruction of the boiler-room
• installation of a system of individual regulation of rooms
• application of effective lightbulbs
