The National Theatre is the Czech Republic’s representative stage. It is one of the symbols of Czech national identity and a part of the European cultural arena.
The historical building of the National Theatre was constructed in 1883. It is the flagship of the National Theatre institution, today amounting to four buildings and encompassing four companies.
EPC project inThe National Theatre – the most frequently mentioned EPC project in the Czech Republic, winning a number of prestigious awards in the Czech and international competitions.
As a part of saving measures, hydraulics of stage technology and central boiler room have been upgraded. Original cooling unit has been replaced with new one. Integrated photovoltaic modules have been added on the roofs. CO2 sensors have been installed to allow fresh air exchange, according to the room occupancy rate. Individual room control allows to set the optimal temperature. Modern lightings and special saver of drinking water also represent significant savings.
