The energy-saving project was started by the modernization of hospital buildings technologies for CZK 66 million, which included the reconstruction of the gas boiler room and hot water preparation, installation of a cogeneration unit, new air conditioning, kitchen modernization, lighting replacement and water saving measures.

An important change was the installation of radiators in selected rooms with automatically controlled valves. Thanks to this, the temperature can now be set according to the application. Consistent energy management is a key element of the entire system.

The project also has an environmental benefit: the annual water saving is 4436 m3 and the CO2 equivalent is 1833 tonnes.
