The Moravian-Silesian Region has selected 2 hospitals, 10 schools and one social care facility for the pilot EPC project.
Energy-saving measures were in hospitals mainly in the transition from the original heating method to the hot water system. At the same time, the system of regulation and distribution of heating water and lighting was modernized. In schools and social care facilities, a refurbishment of the gas boiler room and the transfer station took place. An IRC system for individual temperature control has been installed. Here, too, the existing lighting has been replaced with an economical option.
By switching to the hot water system, the efficiency of steam production increased in hospitals and savings in the regulation and distribution of heating and hot water. Similarly, it is also in schools and welfare facilities.
